On sunday 18th of january tewkesbury traveled to evesham on a cold and icey morning. on arrival with a squad of 18 players we found that hereford were also present. Tewkesbury ended up playing 3 games 2 against hereford and one grudge match against an evesham team who had betten us at home twice last year.
All 3 games saw a high standard of rugby with tewkesbury winning all 3 games,which inclueded a come from behind win against evesham.
GAME 1 TEWKS VS HEREFORD
A first half try from ollie and one for hereford made it 5/5 HT. Another ollie try and one for alex was enough dispite one more try from herefod. FT 15/10.
GAME 2 TEWKESBURY VS EVESHAM
Two try saw evesham take a 10/0 HT lead. An excellent second half from tewkesbury saw try from aaron, jake and morgan completing the come back FT 15/10.
GAME3 TEWKS VS HEREFORD
First half trys from lewis 2, ollie 2, lucas and callum saw tewkesbury take a 30/5 HT lead. A quiet second half saw only one try from william FT 35/5.

On sunday the 7th of dec on a cold morning tewks played host to ross, tewks again with a strong sqaud of 19 players.
game 1 tewks black vs ross
First half trys from Aaron,2, Jake and connor saw tewks take a 20/0 half time lead. More running rugby in the second half saw more trys from Jake,2, Aaron,Lewis and Alex. Dispite a late try from ross tewks ran out 45/5 winners.
game 2 tewks gold vs ross
Another game of running rugby saw first half trys from Ruben,James,Max,Adam,Oscar and 2 from Ollie, ross replyed with 2 of there own. Which saw a half time score of 35/10. The second half saw Adam and Ollie add to tewks lead to make the final score 45/10 to tewks

On sunday 9th november tewkesbury under 10s took part in the county cup, on a cold and sunny day in cirencester. Tewkesbury drawn in group 5 of 7 with widden ob, stow on the wold A, stroud, and ross on wye, the format 2pts for a win and 1pt for a draw with total try pts difference if needed.
After a warm up and a few training drills tewks games played out as followed.
GAME 1 Tewkesbury vs Stroud FT 20/5 win with try from james,connor,ollie aaron and oscar.
GAME 2 Stow on the wold vs tewksbury FT 10/0 loss
GAM E 3 Widden ob vs tewkesbury FT 5/5 draw try from ollie.
GAM E 4 Tewkesbury vs ross on wye FT 25/0 win trys trom archie,aaron 2 and ollie 2.
This ment that tewkesbury ended on 5 pts with a try pts difference of plus 30 which was not quite enough to stay in the main tornament, but we did go through to play in the 1/4 final of the plate comp vs Michenhampton with a chance to go to finals day in may.
GAME 5, 1/4 FINAL. Tewkesbury vs Michenhampton FT 15/10 win trys from adam and ollie 2 .
All of the 13 players on the day played out of there skins , had a great day out,and im sure that they have learnt allot from the experience,and are all looking forward to going to finals day. Thanks go to all the support from the parents and cirencester rugby club for a great tornament.

On sunday 26th oct on a dull and windy morning tewkesbury played host to an evesham team.
Tewkesbury with a reduced sqaud of 13 players and evesham with around the same number, as normal the squad trained hard for an hour before the first kick off.
In the first game evesham raced to a 4 try half time lead with some excellent use of space and good passing HT 0/20.
The second half saw tewkesbury fight back with some faught break down play,and trys from Ruben,and ollie running free for another, with evesham adding a late score of there own.FT 10/25.
The second match saw evesham again take an early 3 try lead in the first half, with tewkesbury responding with 2 breakaway trys from ollie.HT 10/15. The second half was a hard faught with excellent break down play from both teams,evesham again used the space well and scored 3 more late trys to run out winners.FT 10/30

On the 12th of Oct Tewkesbury under 10’s played host to Longlevens, on a foggy and cold morning. Tewkesbury with a large sqaud of 22 players, Longlevens also with a large team.
After an hour of training drills both teams were ready to play. All of the games were made up of excellent open play, some hard break down play and some great tackling from both teams. After three and a half games of very evenley matched rugby from both sides the scores were as followed.
