Walking Rugby

Are you an ex-rugby player or interested in getting fit but looking for something new! Then Walking Rugby could be for you!

Walking Rugby is a simplified version of Rugby suitable for all ages, abilities, and genders, and being a competitive passing game, it’s suitable for ex-rugby players or those interested in rugby without any experience. Those past retirement ages can still indulge in their passion without the full-on contact – or maybe you are using looking to keep up your activity levels and want to try a new sport.

It’s a great way to bring people together before and after sessions and most of all, it brings a strong sense of fun and enjoyment. So if you thought you were too old, too unfit or too broken to play again then join us on a Wednesday evening from 6.00 pm for an hour of fun and some social refreshments!

Tuesday 5 January 2021
Following the government's announcement yesterday that the country and indeed Gloucestershire would move from Tier 4 to Tier 5 with immediate effect, this now means that both adult training/matches and all age-grade rugby training and matches are canceled until further notice.
Our clubhouse remains closed whilst we remain in Tier 5. However, we are accepting bookings for social events in our clubhouse with the caveat that bookings will very much depend on the situation at the time of the event and we reserve the right to cancel.
We recognize that this is hugely disappointing for everyone, but as soon as we are permitted to do so you can be assured that we will open our clubhouse to our members.
