Full Time – U14s vs Stroud
Great game today even though it was shortened to allow us to also play a touring side from Loghor in Wales. The boys never give up these days and always show great determination. We are all proud of them and hope they continue to get better as the season progresses.

Tries : W. Wallace (2)
Pen: B.Roberts
The game against Loghor finished 0- 18. The boys learnt an awful lot from a well structured welsh side who cut us apart with some really powerful runs. Coaching team learnt a lot as well and need to use some of the welsh approach going forward.
Well done to all.
Full Time – U14s vs Cinderford
What a game! Both teams played a good level of rugby with Tewkesbury narrowly missing out despite having the upper hand for most of the game. Well done boys and we are thinking of those who got injured. Please recover quickly.

Upton v U12’s
A 16 man U12 squad travelled to Upton on a cold misty morning to face an Upton squad of over 30 players the majority or which were Hanley School mates of Joe G.
Playing Worcestershire rules, no line outs, only 6 forwards and uncontested scrums at first disrupted the team but the they soon settled down playing four 10 minute games with strong performances from Jack, Ben and Joseph Essex with Will, Dan an Owen also warranting a mention.
The Tewkesbury squad put in a brave performance only to lose 5 tries to 4 with Upton’s fifth try scored in the dying seconds of the final game where the referee, who referred all of the games without bias, missed the scorer just going into touch before touching down which would have left the teams tied and would have been a better reflection on how the teams played.
