Tewkesbury RFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Rich Barber as Junior Chairman and Safeguarding Officer with immediate effect.
Rich has been involved with the club for a number of years and is part of the coaching team for the current U14/U15 team. He brings a wealth of management experience and will be a valuable asset to both the Junior and Management Committee’s as he takes up his new role. Rich together with the Junior Committee are committed to growing the junior section, particularly bringing more girls into the game and delivering the very best coaching experience for our players.

As many of you will know Adrian “Bish” Bishop recently informed the Junior Committee and Club that he had decided to resign as Junior Chairman and Safeguarding Officer with immediate effect.
Bish has long been associated with the club having played for the senior team for many years. He has worked hard to develop the junior section as well as supporting the club in many ways and the Junior Committee would like to thank him for his commitment and energy over the years as Chair. Bish will continue as a Director of the Club.

Tewkesbury RFC are delighted to announce that Emily Hatherall has been appointed as Women’s Head Coach with immediate effect. Emily brings with her a wealth of coaching experience, having coached most recently at Br ockworth ladies, Hucclecote girls U18s and interim Head Coach at Tewkesbury Women. Our women’s team have had some great matches this season and with Emily now developing a new training strategy to build on game play our Women’s team are truly on track to start the new season in a great place.
Co-Captains Kirstie and Zoe said “we are thrilled that Emily has decided to stay on at Tewkesbury as Women’s Head Coach, we have seen such improvement in our games since Emily started coaching us in October, and with team spirit being boosted by this news we cannot wait to see what next season brings”

Tewkesbury RFC are pleased to announce that Jamie Burn has been appointed Health & Safety Officer. Jamie brings with him a vast amount of experience and knowledge in the world of health & safety and will be a valuable addition to the Management Committee and Club. Jamie has also played a key role as a player and captain for TRFC for over 10 years.

Tewkesbury RFC is pleased to announce that Mark Linton has agreed to take on the role of Sponsorship Manager, reporting to Martin Thomas (DoR). Martin has done a fantastic job of moving forward our engagement with local companies and sponsors over the past 24 months and the time has come to build upon this success and appoint Mark Linton to assist and take the club further forward. Mark brings a wealth of local knowledge and connections within the business’s of Tewkesbury and Gloucestershire and we hope this appointment will mean even greater success within the local community for the club.
