Tewkesbury RFC is currently seeking a suitable candidate for the role of Assistant Women’s Coach (backs lead). PURPOSE
To assist the Womens Head Coach with the coaching of individuals and team to achieve success on and off the field.
KEY TASKS
The post holder is a volunteer working to the Womens Head Coach
The post holder will be focused on female adult rugby and supporting and encouraging players specifically with the aim of backs lead coaching.
The post holder will be actively involved in coaching, administration and development of the womens game.
The post holder will implement processes that facilitate player development.
The post holder will develop and retain all players through a high quality rugby experience and promote the club to potential players.
The post holder will attend all training and match day fixtures.
KEY COMPETENCIES
The post holder will preferably have an accredited RFU coaching qualification at level 2.
The post holder will preferably have previous knowledge and experience of rugby coaching in a similar role in a womens/girls environment.
The post holder will have knowledge and training in safeguarding of rugby – play it safe attendance is a requirement of the role within 3 months of appointment if not already trained.
The post holder will require an RFU DBS clearance.
