Our season commenced on Sunday 20 September.    When all the teams are training, we will use the club grounds, not be using the Vineyards. Our start and end times have been staggered to minimize the number of people on the grounds at the same time.   U7 to U11 will start at 9.30 and finish at 11.00 and the U12 to U17 will start at 11.30 and finish at 1.00pm.

We would urge the U7 to U11 parents and players to leave the ground as quickly as possible to make way for the next groups.  However, we recognise that some parents will need to remain for other children in the older groups.

Before arriving at the Club

Prior to attending training and matches, all players, officials, volunteers, and spectators should undergo a self-assessment for any Covid-19 symptoms.

No one should leave home to participate in any type of rugby activity if they, or someone they live with, have any of the following Covid-19 symptoms.

  • A high temperature
  • A new, continuous cough
  • A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste.

Should an individual exhibit any such symptoms, they should follow NHS and PHE guidance on self-isolation with immediate effect.

Arriving at the Club

On arrival at the club please scan our unique NHS Track & Trace GR code which can be found on posters around the grounds. The NHS Track & Trace app can be downloaded for IOS and Android on the app store.   Please remember to check out of the app when you leave the club.

Spectators

We welcome parents to stay and watch their children, but we would remind all spectators that you must maintain and respect the government’s social distancing guidance at all times.  However, whilst Gloucestershire is in Tier 4 only one parent per player should visit the club.  If possible please do not bring young children to our training sessions.

Hand Sanitisers

Hand Sanitisers will be located around the grounds.

Return to Rugby Questions

If you have any questions about Return to Rugby training then please contact your coach directly.

Your coach will confirm which session/group players have been assigned to.

Tuesday 5 January 2021
Following the government's announcement yesterday that the country and indeed Gloucestershire would move from Tier 4 to Tier 5 with immediate effect, this now means that both adult training/matches and all age-grade rugby training and matches is canceled until further notice.
Our clubhouse remains closed whilst we remain in Tier 5. However, we are accepting bookings for social events in our clubhouse with the caveat that bookings will very much depend on the situation at the time of the event and we reserve the right to cancel.
We recognize that this is hugely disappointing for everyone, but as soon as we are permitted to do so you can be assured that we will open our clubhouse to our members.
