We are thrilled to announce Former England attack guru Rory Teague has joined Tewkesbury RFC family as our new Head Coach!

Martin Thomas, Director of Rugby at Tewkesbury said “Rory brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the game that will undoubtedly take our club to new heights. With a remarkable coaching career and an impressive CV detailing his experience at the highest levels in the Rugby, we are confident that he will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the whole of Tewkesbury RFC as Rory will have impact on the Colts, Women and Senior Men”.

About Rory Teague:

Rory has a proven track record of success in coaching at the highest levels of rugby including attack coach at Racing 92 last season who had the best attack in France, scoring 734 points. Teague is well versed in English rugby having played at fly-half for Gloucester and Bristol. He began his coaching life at Harrow where he had a role in mentoring and coaching the young Maro Itoje. After his contribution in England Under-20’s World Championship win in the summer of 2016, he was appointed as full-time skills coach for the senior England team in January 2017. In the summer of 2017, Teague joined Bordeaux in the Top 14 as a backs coach and was then appointed head coach. In July 2019, he signed on as Gloucester’s new attack coach ahead of the 2019/20 season. His dedication to player development and his tactical attacking expertise makes him the perfect fit for our club’s vision. He’s known for his innovative approach to the game and his ability to inspire players to achieve their best and setting high standards.
