New Registration Process
From Season 2020/2021, in line with RFU regulations, we are implementing a new process as to how player data, registrations, and memberships are managed to ensure your child/children are correctly registered at Tewkesbury Tigers.
The process of Annually Registering an existing Tewkesbury Tigers player consists of updating your child’s existing record (you do not need to re-register or create a new registration) to provide medical information, emergency contact details and updated consents. This annual registration process will be developed further and communicated ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
The updated process ensures that parents and players are in control of their own data and unique individual record through their lifetime in rugby. It provides more consistent, accurate and up-to-date information for clubs and the RFU to help players and parents enjoy their Age Grade Rugby and transition into the adult game. Removing paper form completion and storage reduces the burden on everyone, streamlines the process significantly and ensures GDPR compliance from a data security and retention perspective.
What you need to do
We will send you an email containing your RFU ID. Please do not create a new account. If you do not receive the email please check your SPAM/JUNK email or contact us for help.
- Photographic permission (in order that we can use photography of junior players to promote our activities)

- Consent to share the data in the event of an emergency
- A recent photograph of the player is held in GMS as these will be used to produce a “match card” in the event the player takes part in a competition.
- Please also review the information currently populated is accurate e.g. telephone numbers, address, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I access GMS ?
We will send you an email directly from GMS which will contain your unique RFU ID and a link to the login page. It is important to note that there is no password attached to your ID so you will need to select “forgot password” and create a password for your account. Please remember to verify your email when requested. Please do not create a new account in the event you have problems accessing your existing account.
What happens if I leave the club?
If you decide to leave Tewkesbury Tigers to move to another club or have decided rugby is no longer for you please make sure that before you move to a new club you contact the registrar of your new club who will help to organise the transfer on GMS. A new player does not need to be created the record should exist on the system. If you are no longer going to play rugby then please send us an email so that we can update the system.
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund membership fees.
We regularly use photographs of all our teams to promote our activities. However, we will NOT use any photographs unless you have given your permission/consent through GMS.
If your child takes part in any competitions they will need to have a match card issued with their photograph in order that they can take part. This can be uploaded through GMS.
Is there any training for GMS?
In addition to the online resources provided on the GMS page, we are very happy to set up 1:1 or group training sessions on request. Just send us an email through our contact us page.
Membership Fees 2020/2021
Membership for your child is £75.00 and £60.00 for each additional sibling per season. The season runs from September to May.
As part of your child’s membership you will receive 2 parent/guardian social memberships.
