New changing rooms are Open!

Tewkesbury Rugby Football Club has worked hard to improve its facilities and increase youth participation, in particular it is working hard to get the right facilities to build on our successful youth and girls teams. We have built new changing rooms at the club house, to lift the changing rooms out of the flood plain and provide flexibility for the club to extend its activities and use of the club facilities across the range of sports and age ranges it has already at the club. This development will allow a more flexible use of the changing rooms (use each room separately as they are self contained with showers and toilets) and will enable both the rugby playing side of the club to develop and do more, as well as offer opportunity for the other teams using the club and for new sports to develop.

The opening of the new £380,000 changing rooms by rugby legend Phil Vickery on Saturday 5th was a great occasion for all involved and Phil provided a real motivational speech for all the players attending, but more for all the under 12 youth team (and their parents) who were playing to celebrate this fantastic occasion.
