Tewkesbury 20 v 18 Bishopston

Bishopston opened the scoring with an early penalty but Tewkesbury replied with a penalty converted by Anthony Richards.

A break from the Bishopston 10 metre line by Tewkesbury wing Myles Whittle set up Jack Lampitt for his 1st XV debut try to score in the corner converted by Richards.

A further penalty by Richards gave Tewkesbury a 13-3 lead at the half time break.

The second half started with a Tewkesbury drop out which was won by centre Matt Stone who made a penetrating run through the Bishopston defence to score under the posts, converted by Richards.

Bishopston were not out of it with their forwards starting to dominate and Tewkesbury conceded a try from a driving maul, converted by the Bishopston fly half.  Bishopston continued to pressurise but Tewkesbury's defence held firm until the last minute of the game when Bishopston scored a try wide out only for the conversion attempt to go wide.  The final score was 20-18.

After the two weeks break for the festive period Tewkesbury will travel to Drybrook on Saturday 7th January.
